Molly Parker Tapias, Chair
Molly Parker Tapias is an independent management consultant. She conducts analysis and provides guidance to help tech and life sciences companies understand markets, customers, and industry best practices.
Ms. Tapias was a Consultant at Bain & Company for 3 years, where she worked in tech, biotech and private equity. She worked with clients on topics ranging from growth strategy to investment due diligence, cost reduction, and portfolio optimization. Ms. Tapias also worked in Bainfs internal practice area focused on performance improvement.
Before joining Bain, Ms. Tapias completed her dissertation in social-personality psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on close relationships and stigmatized group members’ prejudice expectations. Prior to earning her Ph.D., she conducted consumer research for the Pharmacy Access Partnership and health policy research for the Kaiser Family Foundation. She completed a B.A. in Human Biology and Latin American Studies with Honors at Stanford University.
Gina Allendorf, Member
Gina Allendorf received a BA from the University of Notre Dame, and a JD from the University of California, Davis. She has been an attorney for ten years, working in a private law firm doing civil litigation, a government firm representing children in the foster care system and, most recently, in a non-profit law firm working to advance solutions to end homelessness. Presently Gina has taken time off of work to raise her two children, though she remains dedicated to serving her community, both locally and in the greater bay Area.

Mary Jo Lazear, Member
Mary Jo Lazear currently works as a management consultant for domestic and international not-for-profit organizations. She has a long history of working in the field of reproductive health. Positions held include: Health and Population Officer for Europe and Eurasia at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID); Executive Director of Planned Parenthood of Marin, Sonoma and Mendocino in San Rafael CA; and Executive Director of Planned Parenthood of Cambria/Somerset in Johnstown PA. She also served as Chair of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, President of the Health Council of Marin, and Chair of the DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy.
Mary Jo holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (M.PA) from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA; a Master’s Degree in Education (M.ED) from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA; and a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) from Simmons College in Boston, MA.

Shelly Masur, Executive Director
Shelly Masur holds a Master’s Degree on Public Health and has over 15 years of experience in adolescent health and youth services. She joins Teen Talk Sexuality Education as its Executive Director after serving as the as Director of Community Youth Development Programs at the John W. Gardner Center for Youth & Their Communities at Stanford. Prior to the Gardner Center, Shelly was the Senior Director of After School Programs for Girls Inc. of Alameda County. She has also been a consultant for the multiple non-profit and public agency clients, including the ACLU of Northern California and the California Coalition for Reproductive Freedom, where she worked on issues around adolescent reproductive health and family communication. Shelly was also the director of the Adolescent Health Collaborative (AHC), a public-private partnership working to improve the health and well-being of teens in California. Previously Shelly was the Associate Director of this organization where she focused on sexuality education, youth advocacy, and teen pregnancy prevention.
Shelly is an elected trustee of the Redwood City School District. In that capacity, she served on the San Mateo County Childhood Obesity Taskforce (now Get Healthy San Mateo) as the co-Chair of the School Wellness Policy Group, as well as on the Advisory Council. Shelly is a member of the California School Board Association’s School Health Advisory Council and a delegate to that organization. She also sat on the Board of Directors of the Society for Public Health Educators, has presented at numerous conferences, and served as a reviewer for two peer-reviewed journals.
